Golden appearance and poured very flat.Quite a sharp edge but the lack of a defining taste put this one in the aso ran category.

Bottled at DBF 2005. Orange coloured with a white head. Unpleasant aroma of hops, vegetables and grain. Bad flavour of hops and grains. One of the worst beers I’ve had.

Clear amber colour with a big tan head. Malty aroma with some caramel sweet hints. Malty grainy flavor with a light hoppy bitterness.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with frothy whitish head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Sharp malty and hoppy taste with some yeasty skunkyness. Dry, with a thin to medium mouthfeel, quite carbonated. Not bad.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Tasted like a Burton style pale ale. Amber colour. Aroma of malt, hint of sulphur, burton style hops. Mouthfeel medium, a little overcarbonated for my taste, minerally hop finish.

Pours straw colored with a medium, off-white head. Aroma is pale malt, some hopcit, and very dense skunkiness. Tastes malty, with black pepper, hops and citrus in the finish, and a somewhat dry and watery mouthfeel. This one didn’t do it for me.

Bottled. Dark caramel bitter appearance with a hopped caramel/toffee aroma, and a very dry and caramel flavour. Overall a nice beer.

Bottle. Thin vanishing head. Bit of lacing. Pours of amber color. Smell is mostly malty notes, little to no hops taste or aroma. Malt is a bit nutty in the initial taste and slightly bitter in the finish. An okay beer.
