Not Morland's best, but a respectable ale. Deep copper color. Balanced taste that is clean and dry. Good mouthfeel.

Golden amber coloured body with a white head. Light hop aroma. Mild bitterness in the taste from the hops, some fruit but a fairly light bodied beer.

Such a sad thing that Morland is not Abingdon-based anymore...such a lovely town, Abingdon. The attractively sculpted but clear bottle is a bit unfortunate, as I had a slightly skunky nose, although there were still veins of the caramel maltiness. Nice copper color, good head with a lower level of regular, fine carbonation and an upper layer of more loose lacing. Good flavor, especially before it got too warm--where the metallic edge came out, albeit along with a subtle musty/smokey undertone that was rather nice and reminded me of a pub atmosphere. Not a great beer, but enjoyable for what it is.

(bottled) Orange amber hue and brilliantly clear. Mild fruity, toasty malt nose. Gently toasty malt leads to berry & faint peachy esters. Mild bitterness lets the gently sweet finish focus toward the malt. Medium bodied & medium carbonation. I'll have another, please. Why the clear bottle?

Pumpkin orange color and bittery sweet flavor make this beer reminiscent of a highly hopped wild berry fruit ale. Aroma is pleasant, though weak. Hops dominate flavor during swallow, but malt flavor lingers if drinking straight - Try with a mild cheese or unsalted crackers.

Nice copper color, small head that dissipated quickly leaving a slight lacing on the sides.Malty sweet aroma slight hint of citrus and hops.Sweet and malty taste with a mild fruit presence and slightly higher then mild hopping. There is a mild hop after taste.pretty good brew nothing great but it is a decent one that IMO could be had in a high volume.

Clear copper color with an off white bubbly head. Toasted malt aroma with a touch of wood and light orange peel. Sweet grainy/woody flavors with undertones of floral hops. I'm not finding a whole lot more in this one to report. Somewhat watery and lifeless.

Orange copper hue. Sticky light, off-white head. Weird skunky nose...clear bottle, not good. Starts sweet, pale malts, light to medium bodied, finihing with a skunky slightly bitter, crisp finish. Perhaps a need a more fresh sample....
