12 oz bottle from Country Club Liquors; gusher right out the bottle top; dark copper with a huge beige head; Nose of light caramel with a little skunky, "off" note; flavor was caramel with only a tiny amount of background bitterness; I am not overly impressed! 4/17/08 4/4/5/2/9 2.4 12 oz bottle from GM Liquors; got a non skunked bottle! Nose of light caramel and a grassy, nutty hoppiness; No gusher this time; lightly hazy copper with a small beige head; flavor a good balance of hop bitterness and caramel malt and a light fruity note! Much better!

Pours a copper. Nose of pennies and skunks. Texture is creamy. Malty. Nutty. It’s not a great beer, but it’s solid. Good stuff.

Great Ale that is a refreshing change from the norm. Nice clear brown amber. Some of the best looking beers come from Green King in my opinion. Clear bottle import warning though, make sure it’s cold and fresh. I had this in bottle form, nice and cold. The malt and nutty smooth ale taste are what I like about this. No real bitterness. Good upfront carbonation but all gone towards the end. Interesting how these Morland beers seem to alter themselves as they warm up. Nothing really over the top just a great flavor all around.

12 oz bottle...Pours clear amber w/ no head. A bit stale smelling, earth tones, and mild hops, sweet malts. Tasted like a watered down bitter...very tame hops and some slight caramel. Watery mouthfeel...Not recommended.

strong pilsner type aroma but a more brownish appearance... very sparkly and hoppy with slightly sweet palate

Pours the color of Scotch with about as much head. Aroma is complements of Louis Pasteur; character has been largely killed off and what’s left is empty if not stale-smelling. Mouthfeel is a saving grace: soft and not too carbonated. Flavors are clean and mildly hopped with a solid malt backbone. Smooth, clean, and drinkable even if lacking in complexity.

Easy amber color with thick head. Gentle Britt hop aroma and some honey. Easy hop and malt flavor with a gentle spiciness. Quite nice. Enjoyable, though not certain of the style. Nice smooth medley of hop and malt. Good flavors.
