Amber in color and malty in aroma. Lightly skunked, though I expected a bit from a clear glass bottle. Somewhat smooth watery sweet taste, with hints of caramel. Overall OK I guess, nothing special.

12 oz. glass bottle- color of light amber, with a thin white head – sweet nose of candied bananas, and malt – taste of sweet corn, and malt - body is light, and with medium carbonation – aftertaste of sweet, and long lasted

A decent, sessionable easy drinking bitter. Not too complex, but compliments a long discussion with friends just fine. Everything is well balanced and restrained. I enjoyed this one a great deal.

Dark amber with a beige head. The aroma is hoppy and the flavour is full and hoppy with a lot of roasted malt, caramel and a light sweetness. The bitterness grows in the finish, enough to give a nice touch to the overall impression.

My wife bought this for me because she thought the bottle was cool. Poured amber not much head. Flavor is sweet, molasses maybe? Some spice, I keep thinking clove. Hops were grassy. Kind of mediocre.

Clear bottle, I picked from the shaded rear of the shelf at Total Wine and managed to minimize skunking, but not totally eliminate it. Aroma starts with that mild familiar sulfur component, surrounded by a light grassy hoppiness and grainy caramelized malts. Mouthfeel is soft with light carbonation. Flavor is restrained with just a kiss of biscuity malts, lightly spiced with hops, and a balanced finish. At 4.4% this is totally drinkable and could make a pretty respectable session beer. I would really like to try the cask version. Not much head, bright dark amber color.

Beer pours a dark amber with a skunky aroma, and the flavor just wasn’t there for me. This is not my type of beer.

12oz bottle-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-sweet, secondary spice hops. Taste is medium malt, secondary spice/metallic hops, which continues through aftertaste. Thanks jwc215 for sharing.
