12 oz. clear glass embossed bottle, no freshness date, sampled in a pint glass. Poured a clear reddish, amber orange, small foamy slightly off-white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing, minimal amount of sticking. Pleasant aromas of oranges, nutty wood, toasted sweet malts and flowery herbs. Moderate carbonation, medium bodied, softly crisp with an light dryness, pleasant English ale taste, nutty, sweet toasted grains and lightly roasted malts, subtle orange fruitiness that turns herbal and woody towards the end, nice smooth hoppiness, touch of tannic leather in the finish, easy quaffability, a good ale to spend a night with. I would really like to try this from the cask, I bet it’s delicious.

Wow does this look like rust! Smooth on palate, mild flavor, somewhat creamy. Little hoppy, but not much else for the import price.

Nice little brew. Creamy texture, good flavor. Enough hop, but not overpowering like American and India Pale. It’s just fine. Slightly overpriced.

I liked this one. Not expecting much from the clear bottle. A surprisingly distinct hop flavor for a weak beer. Easily drinkable.

Bottle can’t remember where I got this it’s been kicking about for some time. Poured copper in colour with white head, hoppier aroma than I anticipated, taste was pleasantly malty bitterness was also ok, not bad.

Good orange color, mild nose. Flavor is nutty with caramel. A bit watery but overall quite good.

Picked up a bottle at Total Wine, Cherry Hill for about two bucks. Green, floral hop aroma, clear copper body and slight foam. Toffee, caramel flavors with malt edging out the bitterness. Nicely done bitter, I like the bottle design as well. I’ll re-use the bottle for homebrewing.

That great floral aroma so common to Morland ales. Takes me back across the pond. Nice light amber color, and a hardly present white head. Looks just like an English pump. Starts just a bit malty sweet, the floral hop can’t quite balance the malt, but hey, it’s English. It doesn’t have to balance. There is enough bitter in the finish to make it wonderful. Absolutely.
