Sweet on the palate with some malt flavour. Creamy aftertaste.

Dec 13, 2003 Cask Conditioned at The North Arms, Wroxton, Oxon. Pale brown with no head. Flat as a pancake, no condition whatsoever and this was a fresh barrel. Thin watery insipid beer, an absolute stinker.

Jun 6, 2002 Light color and consistency. Large bubbles forming on side of glass made it look like 7-Up. Not a bad bitter flavor, but a bit weak. Similarly, rather watery but not bad by comparison to many beers in this style. Some sweetness, for one moment it reminded me of taffy. (on tap, Bookbinders Arms, Jericho, Oxford)
