Brown - reddish beer with a nice white head. A sweet raspberry aroma. The flavour is too sweet and artificial for me. (Corked Bottle 37.5cl)

this sofisticated lambic ale from belgium has considerable carbonation.the bubbles are small.this pleasant red ale is moderately sour and best served cold. its rasberry flavor is so fresh it makes you think of hot summer days.

Hazy orange with a subtle pink-tinged head. Aroma of sour raspberries, a little sharp. Sweet berry fruit flavour with some mustiness and a tart finish that keeps this enjoyable to the end. I didn’t find this to be overbearingly sweet as some raters did; the tartness/sourness really balanced it out.

Farily obvious, but the aroma was of raspberries. A little less obvious was the vinegry smell that became more pronounced as the beverage warmed. Beautiful, clear raspberry red body with generous, long lasting pink head was very appealing. Exceptional flavor of raspberries, oak, hops and barley malts tempered by belgian yeasts. The palate was very bright, bubbly and watered and just made me want to drink faster. In all this is a very refreshing beverage that I wouldn’t drink at my best friend’s bachelor party.

Hazy reeddish-brown hue, with a white pinkyish head, intense sweet raspberry nose, with a faint tartness, and minimal wet oakiness, follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a sweet raspberry purée character, with a mild acidic raspberry fruitiness accent, a subtle tartness, leading towards a fruity lambic tartness finish, leaning towards a more commercial aspect of the lambic family.

Aroma: Raspberry (surprise) Acid sour aroma. Raspberry aroma masks the complex lambic character Appearance: Psychedelic thick pink head with tight bubbles. Flavour: Sweet and sour. raspberry with clean acidic sourness - almost acetic in character. Almost like a sweet raspberry vinegar. Long and complex hang teetering between sweet and sour. Mouthfeel: Light body with puckering acidic punch, Creamy fluffy carbonation Overall: Strong raspberry character which overwhelms the more complex lambic flavours - no leathery or farmyard taste. Totally dominated by unsweetened raspberry pie flavour, but with a a nice lingering sweet and sour aspect.
