Smells like ripe raspberries, or raspberry syrup. Tastes like ripe raspberries, or raspberry syrup. Well carbonated. Quite sweet. Best feature is the slightly bitter, dry finish. I don’t like fruit beer. Stefano (1339), Esbjerg, Denmark

sour-ish raspberry aroma. Very pleasant raspberry flavour, with a dry, slightly bitter finish. A very nice champagne-like palate. Trev (882), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2006 Bottle Sample @ TFOB: You can’t say this one’s a tease at all, she’s all raspberry from start to finish. Sampled this with about five other guys in random states of drunkenness, and they all loved it. It’s like the Switzerland of beers, begging "can’t we all just get along?" Strong, strong raspberry aroma; I’ll shake the hand of the guy who can find anything else in that scent. Heavily carbonated, which isn’t my thing, with a large-bubbled head. Flavour is .. raspberry pop. It’s like a raspberry Sprite. If that’s your thing you’ll dig it, I thought it was ok. Fantomas23 (463), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2006 The first time I had this was at the BierMarkt in Toronto. I tasted it again in Brussels. Not too bad - not overly sweet like some other fruit lambics I’ve had (I’m looking at you Boon and Chapeau). Still you can tell that it is definitely sweetened to increase its marketability.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2006 (Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy deep red with a small white head. Fresh orchard aroma with a raspberry dominance, then develops more oak barrel qualities as it warms. Flavor of raspberry and cranberry juices. Obviously not a real lambic, but not as corn syrupy as many Belgian fruit beers either. TipsyMcStager (928), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
