Clear vivid scarlet. Spongy bleached pink foam. Airy aroma of mineral and fresh and sour raspberries. Dabs of musty wood, cane sugar, straw, and herbs. Light and fluffy body. Soft, lively carbonation. Soft tea leaf flavors with a note of faintly sour raspberry. Subtle notes of medicine. Finishes mostly sour and musty before traces of iron appear in the midst of a seemingly endless pale malt underside. Flirtatious traces of rose petals and cotton candy. In hindsight, the pale malts were exceedingly cracker-like and didn’t play off of the sweetness as well as I’d hoped. Perhaps some Vienna or Munich malts would cater more to my liking. Nevertheless, there are many less palatable Lambics out there, but this is still rather tame, with the exception of its fresh raspberry notes and light appetizing effect.

Bottle 25 cl. Raspberry color and aroma, medium head and body. Very tart and slightly oaky. An OK thirst quencher.

July 2007. Bottle at LCBO Summerhill. Rosy body with a small fluffy white head. (3+) Simultaneously tart and jammy raspberry aroma. Sweet flavour like raspberry hard candies. Light tart note keeps it from becoming too cloying, but it is quite sweet over all. Average palate. Pleasant enough for what it is, but the sweetness limits its long term drinkability. 7+/3+/7/3/15 - 3.5 <P>August 2003 TFOB. Bottled. Ruby red, bit cloudy. Sweet raspberry flavour but a bit tart to balance it out. 7/3/8/3/16 - 3.7

Oak and intense raspberry syrup are noticeable in nose. Syrupy cherries/raspberries. Worth a try, but it lacks natural.

Light ruby red, cyclamen-pink huge head, slowly collapsing (on a lambic??). Undeterminate fruitgums nose, something out of an New Age soap/giftshop. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. There is a slight acidic tartness, like some unripe fruit. Fruit again prominent on the edge of natural-artificial flavour, but not specifically raspberry. Taste is however remarkably better than the nose. Retronasal wet-straw flavour. Mouthfeel is OK, slight tartness, and something cloying at the same time. Light bodied. The soap-fruity aroma keeps hanging around. For all that is better as feared, it is still a near insult to what a real raspbery-lambic can be. Oh well, the visitors of the soap-giftshop will like it.

A typical sweet commercial fruit lambic with light lactic character, champagne bubbles, big lively head and sweetness. A light raspberry flavour and aroma is evident throughout.

Pink-red with white-pink small head. Quite sweet aroma of raspberries. Taste is quite sweet of raspberries with some sourness and small, small hints of dark chocolate.

Wicked ruby red, very gem-like with steady carbonation bubbles. One strange pinkish grey head about an inch high of tight, crumbly topped froth that never settles, it sits atop like a king on a throne with layer after layer of gluey-stringy lacing after each sip. Aroma is super sweet raspberry, light and juice-like with a zing. Taste is quick and easy of tart raspberry, somewhat thin, a touch to sugary sweet, not as rich or thick as other lambics. Mellow, light creamy body, good juice-like grab and thinnish texture. But overall quite fast and easily thin. Even though this isn't as rich or thick as I'd like, its still way to easy to drink.
