Full aroma of tart fresh raspberries. Spritzy, refreshing body. Pleasantly sour raspberry flavour. I am admittedly a lambic beginner, but I thought this was a pretty fine brew. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2003 I tried to have my parents rate this beer. As could be expected, the answer was "But this is not beer! This is... fruit juice!" Needless to say, like so many people in the world, they only drink european lager. What really pissed me off was when they said Desperados was better than this!... Anyway. This lambic is dominated by raspberry falvours (it says so on the label, after all) in aroma and taste. Fresh, agreeably sour, and probably not as sweet as the Kriek. Long, dry, Prosecco finish. TheBeerGod (3152), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2003 Had this at Kulminator in Antwerp on 5-14-03. Dark red. Strong pink head. Strong sour-ish raspberry aroma. Carbonated raspberry taste and mouthfeel. Slightly tart but seemingly more sweet taste but a more sour aftertaste. Recommended along with Lindeman Framboise. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 25, 2003 Deep red colour with lots of rocky, pink tinted white head. Aroma hits you immediately with sweet raspberries, almost like raspberry cordial. Very pleasant raspberry flavour, with a dry, slightly bitter finish. A very nice champagne-like palate. My first lambic, and looking forward to more. wnp22 (682), Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 22, 2003 A very sweet raspberry aroma - a little too sweet for me. The color is a beutiful deep red with a nice pink head - though fast disappearing. The flavor is dominated by raspberry in the beginning, then it turns sweet, and then the sharpness from the wildfermentation hits you. A fine flavor, though it is a little too sweet and too raspberry and not sharp enough for my liking of a framboise. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
