A light raspberry remains, rather funky, a bit of popcorn. In mouth, a bit oxidized, sweet honey and raspberry with maple final. Strange. Bottle was BB 2004. Pours a deep red colour with a decent head; head has a pinkish hue, holding some heavy raspberry aromas. The raspberry in the flavour is a bit strong, and very sweet, overwhelming the rest of the beer. I taste some pleasant sourness. There is likely a good beer hinding under all that raspberry. Bubbly bittersweet raspberry, not overpowering taste. Floral perfumey after-taste. robbja (1), Malmo, Sweden does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 2, 2008 The Pub and the beer i had been looking for, for 25 years!
La Mort Subite, i read about their Kriek Lambic beer in a bikers magazine in the early 80’s, went to Brussels in 84, but could’nt find the beer. Went back to Brussels to visit the european parliament in june 2007- and thanks to INTERNET - i found the bar, and had my lifes very first La Mort Subite, Kriek Lambic beer!
I was in heaven!
i also tried La Mort Subite Framboise Lambic and Geuze beer.
Geuze wasn’t for me eaven though i realise that this is the connoisseurs choice.
Framboise Lambic however is almost better than Kriek! iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland

However, she did blame it for giving her a rash on her arms and face the next day (this I would take with a pinch of salt). Top sweet, great smell, very berry. dunkpigen (328), Kolding, Denmark
