The best thing about this was the colour. Cloying it most definitely is, with a tartness to rip your tongue out. Ranked #7 out of the 8 beers tried on the day. caledonian (367), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Clear, red amber body without bubbles and pours a big foamy pink/tan-coloured head. Flavour holds that strong tart raspberry fruit in a long aftertaste, though finishing sweetly. Medium body, fairly acidic. A great fruit-only beer, no surprises. VeloVampire (490), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 13, 2007 Updated: Apr 12, 2007375 ml bottle - hahaha, it’s raspberry juice. Pours reddish/copper, with a fluffy pinkish head. Huge aroma of raspberry, but kind of great, because it doesn’t seem like it’s from concentrate, whether it actually is or not. Even with the abundance of raspberry, the lambic still comes through and there is a nice balance between the tartness of the fruit and the acidity, yeast, and musty earthiness of the lambic. I don’t know how much of this I could drink, but one bottle is perfect, and would be very refreshing in warm weather. One of the better "fruit" beers I’ve had. mannika (103), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Fruity aroma, can really smell the raspberries. Raspberry aroma is present in the taste as well, with a bit of a sour finish. Carbonation is quite heavy. Overall, a nice refreshing beer that is quite unique. Bart (1648), Brussels, Belgium
