Sampled at LCBO Summerhill Beer Festival, Toronto ON. "Sudden death" is right! The best thing about this was the colour. Cloying it most definitely is, with a tartness to rip your tongue out. Ranked #7 out of the 8 beers tried on the day.

Dark copper color. Strong raspberry in the aroma and flavor, sweet but not cloying. Sour finish. Quite nice.

375ml bottle. Pours a reddish copper colour with a frothy pinkish white head. Aroma of raspberry, with hints of cranberry. Taste of tart raspberries with some yeast coming through in the end. Nice sour raspberry aftertaste, good carbonation. all in all a very enjoyable summertime fruit beer.

[230-20070319] 375mL. Very strong (not unpleasant) tart raspberry aroma. Clear, red amber body without bubbles and pours a big foamy pink/tan-coloured head. Flavour holds that strong tart raspberry fruit in a long aftertaste, though finishing sweetly. Medium body, fairly acidic. A great fruit-only beer, no surprises.

375 ml bottle - hahaha, it’s raspberry juice. Pours reddish/copper, with a fluffy pinkish head. Huge aroma of raspberry, but kind of great, because it doesn’t seem like it’s from concentrate, whether it actually is or not. Even with the abundance of raspberry, the lambic still comes through and there is a nice balance between the tartness of the fruit and the acidity, yeast, and musty earthiness of the lambic. I don’t know how much of this I could drink, but one bottle is perfect, and would be very refreshing in warm weather. One of the better "fruit" beers I’ve had.

375 mL corked bottle. Pours a cloudy red with a small, slightly pinkish head. Fruity aroma, can really smell the raspberries. Raspberry aroma is present in the taste as well, with a bit of a sour finish. Carbonation is quite heavy. Overall, a nice refreshing beer that is quite unique.

Red-pink coloured with some light carbonation and a small white-pink head. Fruity sweet, little artificial aroma. Medium to full body. Rather sweet. Finish is again sweeter. Not to bad.
