Acheté au dépanneur peluso à montreal au coût de 2$ et dégusté avec glandine et Agaguk. BIère qui était derrière le comptoir depuis plus de 22 ans. Elle a étét brassé le 6 décembre 1987 et elle est inscrite meilleur avant juin 1995. Le % d’alcool est de 4% et je la déguste dans un mini verre tulipe d’unibroue. Apparence brune ambré cuivré avec un léger dépôt. Arômes de liège, bleuet, rhubarbe, framboise, très boisé, un peu de cerise, sirop d’érable, sirop de maïs et sucre de canne. Aussi une petite odeur de jello au fraise. Goût de sirop d’érable, de fraise, de framboise et de rhubarbe. huilleux en bouche avec un bonne acidité. Il n’y a plus aucune carbonation il a été remplacé par une abondance de goût. Superbe bière!

Oct 15, 2009 (on bottle, 1998 edit.) Very big aroma, good aging here. A bit Faro like, with the sugars and flatness, but still drinkable in a good way. Keeps a slight tartness in the finish. The berries are still all over this brew.

Oct 4, 2009 375 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a nice slightly cloudy ruby amber with small white cap. Tangy raspberry nose. Nicely balanced flavour with slightly tart raspberry and slight dry hops. Somewhat syrupy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Nice refreshing beer.

Sep 20, 2009 375ml Bottle shared with Grand Genie. Paid $2,00 at the corner store Peluso in Montreal. The bottle was 22 years old ***85-06***. Best before 1995-06. Brown copper ice tea appearance, almost clear. Aroma: blueberries, rubarb, cherries, maple syrup, corn syrup and strawberry jelo. Flavor: Maple syrup, cherries, rasberries, rubarb, stawberries. Palate: light body, oily, no carbonation with a light bitterness finish.

Aug 15, 2009 For a lambic this is great. Aroma of raspberries, taste of raspberries with a hint of bitterness. Just a pleasant drink on a summer day.

Aug 3, 2009 375ml Bottle. Smells like a wine cooler it’s so fruity. First lambic ever. Pours a pinkish colour, see through. White head. Really fun taste. Sweet and sour at the same time. Strange carbonation, fruit flavour isn’t overpowering, but it is quite fruity. I like this quite a lot.

Transparent ruby pour with a slightly pink head, fluffy with ample lacing. Nose of sweet fruit, strawberry and other berries, some cream as well. Very sweet flavor of strawberry, a little tartness and cream in the flavor, also some slight wood. Not much of a lambic, but crisp and long in berry. Quite fruity and refreshing.

Jul 17, 2009 Bottle @ Beer Bistro: Poured a reddish golden bubbly. The aroma was raspberries. The flavor was lots of raspberries, bubbles, dry finish and a nice sweetness. Overall, this went great with our dessert.
