Dark amber color. A bit lacking in complexity but fairly pleasant to drink. A bit too sweet for my tastes, though.

This beer was my introduction to gueuze, and it served its job admirably. MS Gueuze might not be as tart and sour as some of the more highly rated gueuzes (e.g., Cantillon, which I enjoy), but for someone just learning about the beer, it is an excellent first step. Refreshing without being too tart. Notably carbonated. If this beer gets you into gueuzes, but then you move on, then it has done a fine job.

Unclear amber gold with a off white head. Besides the typical gueze like sourness that only appears slightly in this one, this has quite a lot of sweetness. That makes this brew easy to drink. Fruity/yeasty/caramel. Enjoyable & quite fresh!

Bottle. Unclear / hazy light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate acidic / sour, wheat. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a average to long duration. Very nice and has a good balance. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat to soft. (020907)

A typical gueze. It took me a while to get accustomed to the tart and acidic flavours this variety offers. Pungent yeast nose with some fruit. Golden hue. Highly carbonated. Citric and fruit tartness. A good pallette cleanser.

1/11/05. 375ml. Belgianshop. Golden/Amber with large creamy white head and bood lacing. Very barnyard/musty aroma. Slightly thin body with sweet taste with little acidity Pleasant but not special.

An interesting lambic... fizzy, amber colour. sour-sweet taste, dry finish. Smell is weird, different than the taste.
