Huge, lacing head. Sour, barnyard aroma. Sour in the flavor as well. Very earthy, with a light flavor of cooked meat. Served at room temperature. Very nice. I imagine the freshness of this beer has helped. gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 10, 2007 Bottle. Orange. Aroma is that of a gueuze (if a mild mannered one), but the taste is too sweet, no sourness, very little funk. More like Swedish Trocadero (a soft drink) Jukkabro (3039), Tampere, Finland
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 28, 2007 Orange colored, little white head. Slightly sour, sweet and caramelly aroma, easy for being queuze. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also sweet with some fruits and slight sourness, berries also there. More like fruit beer for me. oh6gdx (9104), Vasa, Finland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 26, 2007 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sugary, but at the same time extremely sour and dryish. Flavour is wood, sugar, sour fruit, some barnyard and yeast. A bit too sweet for my taste, but otherwise very nice. reakt (937), Greater London, England

Golden with a short lived white head. Yeasty barnyard aroma. Taste of vinegar and citrus fruits. One dimensional, a basic version of the oud gueuze. Adenila (958), Denmark
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 18, 2007 First time rating a lambic brew. I dont really dig this beer. I did like the acidic citric part of the aroma, but the sour part....meh. Reminds be big time of the smell in my childhood kitchen when we tried to make some homemade wine by fermenting apples. I guess i’ve been repulsed by the smell ever since. The sourness wasnt as bad in the flavor, brown suger kinda takes over here. I had hoped for a way more citrus like sourness and not this yeasty fermentation sourness mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 12, 2007 Pours a dark golden yellow with a small head (with great lace!) and nearly no aroma - slightly sourish. Really reminds me of Unibroue Ephemere, but a little more cultured. Fruity (apple, berries), woody, not too sour but not to sweet - bready, not much in the way of hops - perhaps some grassy late notes. This is definitely not what I look for in a beer, but fun to try, and definitely more low-key than the Ephemere.
