pours a clear coppery color with a small head and decent amount of lacing. the aroma is bitter and citrusy. The flavor isn’t as much as I was expecting but still enjoyable nonetheless. There is definitely a bite, but not a huge one as is expected with a gueze!

A Mes rate: Not bad. Not great. Butter and spice, only slightly tart. No real over the top lambicness going on. Nice and mellow really. Nasty colour lets it down a little for me.

Bottled. Clear copper colour. Lacey, medium head. Tart, woody, appley and slightly vinegary aroma. Not very tart, but also not overly sweet. Cidery, vinegary notes. A little lemon also in there. Ends cidery. Quite nice.

25 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Not much aroma, but some hints of oaks and sourness. The flavour notes are wood, sour citrus, apple and little earthy. Not a beer for me.....

The body of this gueuze is the color of a shiny new penny. It has a tall creamy and bubbly white head. The aroma is slightly tart, apples and oranges, wet hay and summer flowers. It’s very light in the mouth, slightly powdery. It’s sweeter than other gueuzes that I’ve had, still with the underlying tartness. The flavors are a hint of wheat, sour oranges, apple, straw, grasses, and pollen. Quite enjoyable and easy to drink.

A dark orange gold colour with a small white head. A acidic and refreshing gueuze with no sweeteners added. A quenching brew. (Bottle 25cl)
