And a good choice. First - but definitely not last - gueze.
Copper gold with a nice foamy head. Great aroma - like a nice flemish sour (Rodenbach). A mouth watering scent. Taste is great - very refreshing with a hint of sweetness to cut through the prevalent sourness. A bit flatter than I would have preferred, but a decent lingering flavour. Nice indeed. Aroma of tart apples, honey & some lambic funkiness. Flavour is dry and tart off the top, with some lemony notes, turning sweet in the middle before a moderately sour finish. Not bad, but by the end of the glass, the sweetness starts to get cloying. Garrat (1132), Suffolk, England

Light orange/yellow tinged pour, big fizzy white head that stuck around for a bit, and then disappeared. Aroma is somewhat muted - tinges of citrus, honey sweetness. Mouthfeel is nice- not as thin as it looks and a good amount of carbonation (not too much). Taste is slightly tart at first, giving way to a real lemon flavour. Almost sugar sweet as well. Not really what I expected in this style - comes off as a little bland and artificial. But it remains enjoyable throughout and I imagine quite accessible. pivnizub (5014), Bochum, Porúří, Germany
