| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 7, 2005 375ml green corked bottle. Deep gold in colour. Full pillowy, creamy head. Very slight funkyness in the aroma, but lots of sweet notes. Starts sweet with sugar/honey notes, progresses to slight tartness (grapeskin, lemon). ghawener (964), San Salvador, El Salvador
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 6, 2005 Bottle: Orange colour with a great white heavy head. Aroma has distinct wheat presence with sweet, fruity notes. Taste is sweet-bitter, strong pineapple and much too sour to be a great lambic. Overall disappointing, expected much more from this one. stephen louis (162), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 13, 2005 Pours out with a big head that fads down to a mm pretty quick.
the nose is sharp and basomic... If farmhouse animal urine smelled good it would smell like this..The taste is sweet and bitter.the flavour is one dimensional but it is a pleasant flavour..but that flavour really runs the sweet to tart gauntlet.
A decent beer.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 13, 2005 Thanks to npdempse for this one. Pours hazy dark straw with medium white head. Aroma of malt, sour fruit, some honey. The aroma lets you know this one is tart. Tastes very tart, with the typical gueuze taste and finsihing tartness and minor fruitiness. This one finishes bone dry and tart, and it is a good example of the style. DerWeg (762), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 12, 2005 25 cl bottle. Very commercial, highly sweetened Gueuze. Somewhere in the background is a bit of classic dusty old sourness but I ordered a 12 pack of this stuff and unfortunately it has no teeth for its style. Too sugary in both taste and mouthfeel - what a pointless creation! I would much prefer an ordinary Belle Vue Gueuze to this anyday for its more tart & vinious balance. So... Mort Subite (hey, that’s MS) is not a winner for me, but I’d be happy to try it at its namesake Café in Bruxelles, Belgique. Maybe this beer needs to be served amidst good architecture by a lovely fine-limbed young Belgian blonde. Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico
