| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Bottle, somewhere in Belgium. Orange brown with a thick white head. Hardly any sourness, not a massive amount of the typical flavours for the style. Made it a very neckable beer though. Pear I think, definitely a little fruit but can’t quite say pear for sure. Which is good, I don’t like pear. TheEpeeist (1481), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

Nose is apricot, peach, toffee and pepper with hints of banana. Not really thin but feels watery; a slight tang. Tastes pretty much like lemon juice but not quite as sour. Brief pear followed by a dry finish with pith and green banana. saxo (3641), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 17, 2009 375ml bottle. Stinky, stinky cheese and assloads of apple cider vinegar initially on the nose. Moldy brown sugar. Nail polish remover stings the nose. Pours a highly filtered orange/brown with a thin white head. The beer tastes like fermented brown sugar. Rotten cheddar. Slightly metallic. Little barrel and little funky yeast. Medium bodied. Slightly tinny and metallic. Spritzy carbonation with an abrupt, woody finish. Faro? Incredibly unspectacular. Thanks Al! OSLO (829), Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 6, 2009 [Bottle] Pours dark golden with a small off-white head. The aroma is huge on apple vinegar, brown sugar and some leather notes. Taste is sweet with apple and very subdued sourness. Very unusual. Fairly thin with a short, dry finish. Wow, this was a strange beer. It was probably the sweetest gueuze that I have ever had, and actually tasted a lot like a cider. tomer (380), Rishon Le Zion, Israel
