Apr 3, 2004 An orange beer with a fine head. The aroma is sour from the wild fermentation with notes of metal. The flavor is lovely sour from the wild fermentation - that draws out the mouthwater. It has a good balance, though the body is a little thin.

Mar 26, 2004 Dirty-brown, dense head, very slowly collapsing leaving thin shreds of dirty lace; yellow-brown tea colour. Woody, paintstripper or glue, sulphur, dried green raisins. Sweet taste, but syrupy. Faint woody & fruity taste; as a homeopathic dose of raisins, lemon juice and honey - and water, water, water, w... Surprisingly empty mouthfeel, certain tartness all the same. Faint cloying finish. One expects it to be substandard. And yet, one is disappointed when it proves to be so. The base is there, but in what travesty.

Mar 26, 2004 Pours honey and clear. It's got a thin mouthfeel but it looks a little syruppy. The aroma is reminisant of a cider, but carries a subtle champagne mustiness. Maintains a full head for the entire glass. Extremely soft carbonation. Nice fruit sugars and honey notes. A little bit plain but a good example in a new style for me.

Mar 8, 2004 Bottled, no cork. Sweet nose, champagne like smell. Some tartness, but mot much. Quite weak for a gueuze. Clear, amber coloured with no head. Taste is very sweet, some sourness, not much balance, little tartness and just a little oak. Fresh palate. I'm not quite impressed.

Mar 7, 2004 Great golden color with big beautiful head. The flavor is right there with a nice acidic and perfect amount of tartness that balanced well. Finish was earthy and sweaty.

Mar 2, 2004 This gueuze pours with a very cloudy amber body topped by a thick foamy head with lots of lacing. The aroma is tart, but not as tart as I expected, with oakey notes and a slight mustiness. The flavor is slightly sour and tart, but again not as much as I like in a gueuze. Slight oakey notes and a touch of mustiness show through. Light to medium bodied and slightly dry.
