| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | May 21, 2009 2007 Bottle. Pours pinkish amber with a white head. Flavor is very sweet with some sour notes. The flavor is very sweet and lacks the tart and sourness I look for in a Gueuze. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2009 bottle from Gollem in Amsterdam - Pours copper with a one finger white head. It smells of sweet malt and some brett. The flavor is very sweet with some tart fruit and a little brett. The funky wild flavors are subdued for a gueuze. Ok.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Apr 27, 2009 [250ml bottle at Chippenham Beer Festival 2009] Tart, sharp and sweet at the sane time. Lots of raspberry fruit, with some pepper. Fizzier than I normally like, but somehow it worked. A very nice, refreshing summer beer. Recommended. c5 thedees (15), England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2009 Bottled. A light copper in clour, grainy and grassy aroma. Pleasntly sour but not as extreme as some, sweetens up at end. Parket (262), Bruges, Belgium

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 21, 2009 With thanks to Jerc & Mabel. Pours a beautiful ruby red with a large white head. Slight visible carbonation. Aroma: nice pepper & fruit smell initially with wheat and malt at the back end. Flavour: quite ’altar wine’ esque with dark fruit, yeast and an enjoyable grape finish danielst (153), Vienna, Austria
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 16, 2009 Very nice amber/red colour. Fruity (apples, strawberries) champagne aroma on a faint yeasty background. Both sweet and sour taste; medium dry, tickling mouthfeel. Refreshing, but not really thrilling, I like the macabre name anyway.
