aroma of cherry, light hops, plenty of fruits, elderberries, not nearly as fruity as the xtreme version.
Taste, fruity, again with cherries and elderberries, though only 15% and remain mild palate, light sugary notes with some fruit tartness.
Enjoyable, true to the style.

Jun 6, 2009 Flaske: Flot lyserød øl med et kæmpeskum. Duft af tyggegummi og en meget lille smule stald. Smagen er sød, meget sød. Ikke meget Lambeek over denne øl.

I tried this beer on June 1, 2009 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a beautiful translucent red with a thin creamy light tan coloured head that stuckj around. The aroma was tart cherries, some wheat malt, and spice. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with weak carbonation, mildly disappointing for the style. The flavour is tart, bold, with definite cherry hints, and a tart and bitter finish.

May 30, 2009 A clear rose/red colored beer, with a white/rose head. The aroma of sweet fruits with a little sourness. The aroma is fresh, it is the flavor of sweet cherries. There are hints of sour in the back. The aftertaste is very little some dry and some sweet.

May 25, 2009 I found this is Brussels, Belgium. I’d read much about it so I thought I’d try it. It has a very strong cherry flavor, not unlike the cough syrup of my childhood. A bit more carbination than I cared for. Not so much my thing, but if you enjoy fruit beers, sweet in taste, this is for you.

May 7, 2009 Bottle, c&c. Pinkish red color with a frothy off-white head. Dusty cherry aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Mild sweet/sour cooking cherry flavor. Not much wood. Actually not much anything after the cherry. Good drink, but not smashing.

Clear reddish body with a medium, long lasting, dense, pink head.
It has a very pleasant aroma of dry cherries when cold. As it warms up it sweetens and some sour notes comes trough as well.
It’s thin bodied with a vague flavour of cherries. The aftertaste has weak plastic like note.
