Draught, sold with hand made label reading "Mort Subite Kriekenlambic" at Akkurat, Stockholm. Fresh sweet cherry aroma. Dry with intense initial acidity. Concentrated juicy citric flavour. The cherries adds a sweetish flavour, but they are far from the magnificently complex flavour of the Schaerbeekse krieken. The acidity however is hardcore. Really traditional, but lacks a bit of flavour depth.

Dark purple-brown. Interesting aroma with a slight toastiness and cherry pits. Light balsamic character leads to a very tart, bracing finish.

A Mes rate: Draught. Deep red. berries a plenty. Everything it has it has in abundance. To be honest it’s probably better than my numbers suggest but that’s what was in my notes so thats what gets entered...

(Draught) Pours a clear red body with no head. Aroma of vinegar, earth, and cherries. Flavor is quite tart upfront and then shows more cherries and light cough syrup character as it warms.
