Orange colour with a white head. Barnyard aroma. Sour acidic flavor. Has a long sour aftertaste with some hints of bitterness.

Dutch Ratebeer Gathering. Clear orange coloured, small white head. Typical gueuze nose, quite fruity, promising. Flavour’s not able to match this though, nicely sour (not sweetened) but not as complex as most other Oude Gueuzes.

6th Dutch Ratebeer Gathering. Very, very fruity. Apple. A bit too much for me, my taste will grow too like it I think :) Flavour quickly fades away, it’s apple, epple, apple. A bit sour. Overall interesting and nice too get to know the gueuzes.

Bottled: Orange coloured. Hazy. Dense off white head. Aroma has some nice sweetness and a light sourness. Not very tart and earthy. So,e fruits and berries. Flavour as well has more sweetness than sourness, but still nice. Light earthy and some horseblanket. This is not a very demanding gueuze, but still quite nice and refreshing. Ends on a sweet sournote:

Bottled, 6th DRG. Very easy for a geuze but still a good traditional one. Aroma is tart, oak, fruity, hints of horseblanket. Cloudy, yellow color, off-white head, fair lace. Sour (hints of vinegar), barnyard, fruity. Great flavors actually but those disappears very fast.

6th Dutch Ratebeer Gathering. Quite a nice fresh gueuze. Aroma is mainly fruity. Hazy, orange coloured with a thin, white head. Taste sweet, smooth and fruity. Initial tartness fades.

Hazy golden color. Nice aroma, some horseblanket, but more sweet gueuze. Quite sweet for a tart gueuze, bit fruity. Sparkling at the start, sticky in the finish.

Bottled. A hazy peachy coloured lambic with a nice rocky large white head. The aroma is fizzy, funky, fruity and woody. Sour and inviting on the nose. The taste is also typically lambic, but never over sour, nor is it too sweet to be authentic. Oaky woods come through together with fizzy lemony fruits. Quenching and tasty. Nice.
