Good gueze - much, much better than the mainstream by the same name. The aroma is classic guezelike and the taste clearly touches apples. Do yourself a favour and go and get it on draft. You’ll get huge glasses with beer, which is slightly different than on the bottle.

Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours clear golden with a very impressive creamy yellow-white head. Aroma is softly tart, subdued caramel, funk, barnyard. Lightly citric. Wonderful mouthfeel with lots of small bubbles. Flavour is very balanced, tart citric notes, some apple, vaguely vinious and a good sweetish caramel finish. A great Gueuze!

(Bottled) Hazy golden with a smallish, tight head. Dry and tart, wheaty aroma with hints of caramely malt. Dry and very tart, crisp and fruity flavor with lime, wheat, white plums and apricot. Alcohol doesn’t show at all. Medium-bodied, very tart and dry palate with somewhat fizzy (suits to the style) carbonation. Surprisingly, a real and enjoyable gueuze from Mort Subite. Pleasant, tart, refreshing, nice.

thanks for a great tasting Kim (Beljohansen): claer and bubbly, sour notes of wood, leather and barn yard, dry and long lasting finish.

(Bottle, BB 05.07.2012) Pours a lightly hazy golden body with tall rocky white head and nice webbed lacing. Aroma of white grape, barnyard, vinegar, urine, and green apple. Flavor of moderately sour grapefruit and light lemon with a dry oaky finish.

Hazy fully golden colour with a white head. Fruity, light tart aroma with notes of yeasty and wood. Tart fruity and yeasty citric flavor with a light dry finish with notes of wood.

Bottle…Cloudy golden ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Excellent retention. Perfumy, funky nose with a suggestion of ginger ale. Medium-bodied with a sawdust mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Ridiculously low sweetness, medium acidity and moderate bitterness. Extremely dry. Has to be over-attenuated. Mid-length, extremely coarse, Sahara-dry finish. Refreshing, but the lack of any residual sugar and this beer’s over-carbonation induces something just shy of an outright assault on the palate. However, I am a fan of all things intense! A big SHOUT goes out to ygtbsm94 for floating this bottle my way!
