Pours a cloudy yellow with a small but fading white head and a nice sour fruity aroma. The flavor is very nice complex blend of apple citrus, orange and some mild sweetness. I like it, but the finish is too much for me, it get’s a bit too sour at times, but Ilike this beer overall. Fin (3485), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 10, 2007 375 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold under a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin film. Moderate fine visible carbonation. Nose is pretty funky with lots of barnyard and musty dusty cellar. Some light oak and light vinegar, but a bit of paint thinner detracts. Flavor is very acidic, the heavy vinegar pretty much dominates any subtleties up front. A little funk does emerge on the finish with some green apple. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a bone dry finish and moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, I think that this was pretty decent, but just not as complex as some of the big boys.
