Bottle. Thanks to Alex. A hazy golden beer with a big white head. The aroma is light acid and of yeast and fruits, so is the taste, grassy. Medium body with a dry acid finish.

Fantastic one of the best gueuze’s yet! Notes say: Really drinkable lambic funk,m citrus and grassy hints, not overly sour, good carbonation, super duper drinkable!

Akkurat, 2002 bottle Hazy golden pour with a stupendous white head full of regular bubbles, if a bit large. Leaves lots of lacing. Smelling a bit thick, indeed, there is more malt in there than most lambics and the wheat character is less dominant. Rather flowery gueuze, full bodied and with parse bubbles. A surprising earthiness, kinda mineral is the main diversion from the otherwise mostly lemony flavor profile. So not the driest lambic, but fresh and rather chewy example, a different take that is very welcomed with fair brett wildness and acidity. Another classy drink.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy gold/orange with a moderate white head. Aromas of horse blanket and lemon. Spritzy flavour of lemon with a tart, but not too sour, finish. Very drinkable.

Light amber yellow coloured with some average carbonation and a medium white head. Fruity sour aroma. Full body with some sprankling. Finish is sour fruity. Nice.

37.5cl bottle at Dog & Bell, Deptford. Copper colour, lasting beige head. Sour gueuze aroma. Very sour in mouth. Wow what a wake up. Surprisingly lovely lemon. I didn’t think it would be this good. Excellent apple/lemon gueuze.

Bottle, demi. Very clear, straw/golden geuze. Good fresh aromas of lemon, horseblanket and some sweetness. Not as complex in taste as other geuzes, but that’s great on a hot summerday: acidic, lemony, sweetish, woody and a bit of balsamico. Long, tart, lemony and sour finish. Alcohol is indeed well hidden, i thought it was around 5%! Very refreshing and not overly complex geuze, very nice!
