The aroma is very sour with notes of wood, wildfermentation, and grapefruit. The color is hazy orange and it has a huge white head. The flavor is sour, woody, dry with notes of grapefruit and lovely sour - a great flavor.

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Beautiful, dark, golden colour - hazy. Dry - not much sweetness was left in this. Typical sour vinegar notes but I also detect whiskey, yes for sure - this is the closest you get to bourbon in a beer bottle.... (Mine was 6% ABV). 240793

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy light orange with a fizzy white head. Sharp acidic nose, mild barnyard note. Flavour has a mild acidic flavour on top of a mild sweetness. Mild fruity into a subdued sulphorish note. Smooth woody note. End is also quite smooth.

Bottle, Archer Ale House

Despite being billed as unsweetened, sugar is listed on the label. Hazy orangey colour. Appley, woody, bretty aroma. Flavour is tart, with woody, leathery, bretty notes. Balanced tartness - this isn’t Cantillon - and overall a pretty decent gueuze.

37cl Corked Bottle at Plan B
Golden golor; frothy head with nice lace. Sour, a bit citrusy, dry. But the aroma is far from being as strong as the good samples from Drie Fontainen and Cantillon, and the body from being complex as I would expect. Just refreshing.
