Dry - not much sweetness was left in this. Typical sour vinegar notes but I also detect whiskey, yes for sure - this is the closest you get to bourbon in a beer bottle.... (Mine was 6% ABV). 240793 yespr (12414), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Despite being billed as unsweetened, sugar is listed on the label. Hazy orangey colour. Appley, woody, bretty aroma. Flavour is tart, with woody, leathery, bretty notes. Balanced tartness - this isn’t Cantillon - and overall a pretty decent gueuze. fiulijn (7460), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2007 37cl Corked Bottle at Plan B Golden golor; frothy head with nice lace. Sour, a bit citrusy, dry. But the aroma is far from being as strong as the good samples from Drie Fontainen and Cantillon, and the body from being complex as I would expect. Just refreshing.
