Dec 31, 2008 Woot, thanks to OldStyleCubFan for sharing. Pours a bright red with a tantalizing pink head. The nose is very tart and vinous, cherry and cherry skin tartness, cherry pit/almond undertones, earthy, yeast characters bringing up the rear. Flavor is tart, cherry skins and pits are forefront, nice background yeast and barnyard characters. Tart and acidic on the mouth.

Dec 30, 2008 Bottle shared at the Carolina Crew tasting by OldStyleCubFan - thanks, Todd! Oh man, this was a dig-diggity-delight. About as good as you can get for the style, really. A dark pour, almost hypnotic with a deep color and lively carbonation. Dry, dark cherries in the nose, and deeply, unapologetically acidic. Dank, musty, and complex. Superb.

Dec 29, 2008 ’07 bottle graciously shared by Todd. Deep clear ruby pour. Lambic comes through more than the cherry flavors, in a good way. Earthy, sour, funky, citric nose. Similar on the palate, with some light cherry as well. Dry and tasty.

Dec 27, 2008 Oh how I love dry sour krieks. Krieky, kriek, kriek, I love krieks. 375mL bottle from ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad! Pours deep red amber color. Aroma is mild in funk, but wonderful, and strong in cherry, and some nice woody undertones. Very pleasant to smell. Tasty is acetic, cherry tart, and dry. Very easy to drink. The more I drink, the more I want. Excellent. I am sad the my glass and the bottle is empty.

Dec 11, 2008 Raccolte 2006 Bottle #04695. Pinky thick head on a clear red. Just an hint of woody brett, then a clear strong cherry aroma mixed with a nice sourness. Mellow sourness, a distinct cherry flavour and a clean dry finish. Thanks Michele for this one.

Nov 27, 2008 Bottle @ home. Clear bright red, thin pink head. Aroma of must, sour cherries, tart, hops, acid. Flavour is sour, a bit like champagne, dry, slightly bitter. Short finish. Too sour for me.

Oct 26, 2008 Bottle, 375ml corked, courtesy of plovmand. (2006 vintage) It pours a clear red body with a small pinkish-white head. Lovely cherryish nose with some almond, sourness and barnyard. Cherry, citric sourness, some kind of sweetish feeling, and some barnyard in the mouth, leading to a finish with cherry and some barnyard. Astringent, teeth- and palate-cleansing. A really cute one.
