Bottled. An unclear deep red beer with a pink head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of cherries. The flavor is sweet combined with an acidic note and notes of cherries, leading to a dry bitter woody finish, where a note of almonds mixes in.

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn/BelJohansen. Bottle #26623. Pours a slightly cloudy red colour with a rough, pink head. Sourish cherry aroma. Medium body with fairly sour notes of cherries and a somewhat astringent finish. No real Brett accents - just sour. 110108

Hazy red with lovely medium head. Tart and fruity notes in the aroma. Slightly sour flavor with barnyard notes, grapefruit and lovely sour cherries. Lovely.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy red with a diminishing pink head. Sulphorish, woody and dry cherry aroma. Dry and acidic cherry flavour. Finish holds a solid acidity with a nice sulphorish note lingering inbetween the solid cherry note. All remains dry and close to woody in tones. Nice.

from belgianshop.com - hazy bright reddish colour, pinkish beige head with a nice lace; aroma of cheese, cherry and vinegar; medium-bodied, very creamy mouthfeel and very sour; dry and long sourish aftertaste of kriek and vinegar - a solid lambic

From ygtbsm94, thanks Brad. The bottle pours a beautiful deep pink-red color with a small pink lacing. Aroma is very original for a Kriek, with a grainy, earthy, dirt-like cherry sweetness. The taste starts subtle, with cherry sweetness and then POW, right in the kisser, hits you with a tremendous dry acidic sourness. it lingers for a bit. A very nice of original sweetness with earthy character (maybe the cherry pitts?) mixed in a with a short but strong sourness. The mouthfeel is pretty relaxed here, no sharp spiky carbonation a la Cantillon.
375mL cork and wire, bottle #39983, Cantillon small rounded wine glass.

Bottle shared with Beastiefan and puzzl. Pours red with a nice pink head. Smells tarte with a wonderful backdrop of fruit and pits. Taste is very tarte and dry with some peppery sour splashes. Very tarte and textured on the finish. Superb!
