Bottled. An unclear deep red beer with a pink head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of cherries. The flavor is sweet combined with an acidic note and notes of cherries, leading to a dry bitter woody finish, where a note of almonds mixes in.

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn/BelJohansen. Bottle #26623. Pours a slightly cloudy red colour with a rough, pink head. Sourish cherry aroma. Medium body with fairly sour notes of cherries and a somewhat astringent finish. No real Brett accents - just sour. 110108

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy red with a diminishing pink head. Sulphorish, woody and dry cherry aroma. Dry and acidic cherry flavour. Finish holds a solid acidity with a nice sulphorish note lingering inbetween the solid cherry note. All remains dry and close to woody in tones. Nice.

Bottle, 6.5%. Nice deep red colour, small pink head. Nice, sweet cherry aroma. The same goes for the flavour, well-balanced, just a touch of cherry. Nice.

Bottled (2006 limited edition, according to bottle). Dark ruby red colour, big pinkish head. Aroma is very sour cherries along with some wooden and grassy hints. The same goes for the flavour. A very bigtime cherrybomb.

Dark and bloody. Light nose is woody with light cherry. Brash tartness, quite a bit of cherry. The body is somewhat thin but the character is assertive. The tartness is great, though. It’s not super complex - definitely a bit clean - but it’s good lambic.
