Krieky, kriek, kriek, I love krieks. 375mL bottle from ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad! Pours deep red amber color. Aroma is mild in funk, but wonderful, and strong in cherry, and some nice woody undertones. Very pleasant to smell. Tasty is acetic, cherry tart, and dry. Very easy to drink. The more I drink, the more I want. Excellent. I am sad the my glass and the bottle is empty. Taste boom ! Lightly bitter, moderately sour initial flavour. Lightly sour finish. Very full mouthfeel of cherries. Quite soft, like drinking cherry-wine. Flavor is a blast of sour cherries and cranberry, like unsweetened cranberry juice but so much more drinkable and pure. CInnamon in back is a defining feature of this beer and very unique. Deep red-purple colour with a smallish, but stable pink head.Nice lambiek aroma (citrussy) with cherry -nicely balanced. Great cherry flavours with citrus- very acidic and ending crisp and superdry. Aromatics is sour cherries, grape, and funky brett. Flavor is mouth puckering sour cherries and exactly what i needed after sampling so many other beers at pauls tasting. WOW outstanding. Pours a bright pinkish red with a foamy somewhat lasting head and some lace- aroms is woody, earth, funk touch of chlorine/bromine pool water and plastic pool toy- brett, with tropical fruit mixed with tons of fresh cherries, and almond like cherry pit. Tons of fresh fruit- cherry adn almost a tart cassis like character- sharp in acidity and a very sour finsih with lots of funk and good brett character cutting through a big fruit backbone. Smells tarte with a wonderful backdrop of fruit and pits. Taste is very tarte and dry with some peppery sour splashes. Very tarte and textured on the finish. Superb!
