gyllenbock (238), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 28, 2009 On tap at Mort Subite, Brussels in October 2009.
It both smelled and tasted very much peach, almost like lemonade. Easy to drink but one glass was enough. Very sweet, not much acidity. Sweet aftertaste. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jun 29, 2009 (Draught) Pours a clear golden orange body with a dense medium off-white head. Aroma of peaches, CO2, and candi sugar. Flavor of peaches, corn syrup, and light funkiness. plutoodie (12), Belgium Apr 26, 2009 Nice fruit beer with a light head. Sweat taste of fresh peaches with very little beer taste. Good on draft. Sten (288), Westerlo, Belgium Apr 7, 2009 Pale orange coloured beer with a white head. Fresh peachy aroma, sweet flavour of peaches. (Bottle 25cl) yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 16, 2008 From tap at la Mort subite. Pours clea ad golden orange with a small diminished white head. Aroma is distinct peachy fruity. Sweet peachy at first with a solid citric base appearing into the finish along with a lasting peachy fruity flavour. Pyobon (266), Sydney, Australia Oct 3, 2008 Draught. Clear pale golden with lots of white head. Huge peach aroma with nothing else associated with beer. Light body with plenty of champagne-like effervescence giving a texture like peach skins. The flavour is strongly peach. There is a reasonable balance between sweet and sour, althoygh perthaps a little sweet. There is no bitterness and just the slightest hint of malt. It is overwhelmingly fruity. It is enjoyable, but so fruity the beer origins are lost.
