bottle25cl. a better version than the original, more fruity. pours a ruby/rose, that is light darker in color than the original version, head is lightly pink. Aroma charged in cherries, and some elderberries. Cherry reminded me of light liquorish cehrries found on pastries. Taste, lots of fruits, cherry is more dominant, palate is more sugary.

Draft. Clear red with a tiny white head. Aroma had sweet cherries and almonds. Flavour was sweet with cherries, almonds and hints of wood. Finished kind of tart.

Bottle in Brussels. Clear red body with tan head. Strong cherry nose. Cherry flavour with strong sourness. And more cherries in the finish. Way too sweet for me.

Muddy reddish coloured body with a tan head. Aroma of potent and strong cherries, alcohol and malt - not much else. Medium-bodied; Sweet cherry flavour up front with a sourness that makes you pucker. Aftertaste shows cherries, sweetness, a bit of alcohol and some odd bitterness from the malt. Overall, a sweet and fairly uninteresting kriek - not complex enough. I sampled this 25 cL bottle purchased at a small shop in Bruxelles, Belgium on 13-March-2008.

Pours deep, clear red with a big, frothy, white-pink head with fine duration. Aroma has sweet almonds and cherries. A bit watery mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet cherries and light dryness. Not the worst sweetened kriek.

Xtremely sweet pale ruby red and clear color, fine white head. too sweet, nicely sour. quite pure cherry flavor.

Bottled Clear copper. Small pinkish head. Sweet aroma from cherries and marzipan. Sweet, sugary flavour with metallic notes. Cherry-syrup with only some sourish notes.
