It was very nic,e but the bottle has changed. The flavor was really sweet, but I found an anomaly, a backtaste like painture. It gave me a lot of thoughts.

Bottled as Louwaege’s Kriek (BB 03/2006)
Deep cherry red color, small reddish head, some lace. Sweet cherry candy aroma. Thin and watery. Sugary with artifical cherry flavor. Lacks acidity. Anyhow this is not the worst of "fake krieks".

16 Jun 2005 - (Alden Biesen Gasthuis) - Lusciuos sweet cherry aroma. Poor head, deep clear dark red colour. Luscious sweet fruit, lacks complexity and I feel this is a bit of a girlie drink. Lingers as sweet fruit and lemonade finish. For me I rated this fruit driven beer higher because it didn’t have the lambic-sour taste, although this made it more simplistic.

Dark red colour with a small white-pink head. This beer has a sweet artificial cherry aroma with a very sweet taste and a slightly sour aftertaste. (Bottle 25cl)

A pink beer with a light pink head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by marzipan, but also with hints of cherries and wood. The flavor is sweet and dominated by cherries and only hints of acidity, leading to a dry end. Not as bad as I had feared.

Sweet cherry aroma. Bright red cherry colour with fair head and lacing. Sweet cherry malt flavour. Fizzy palate.
