A pink beer with a light pink head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by marzipan, but also with hints of cherries and wood. The flavor is sweet and dominated by cherries and only hints of acidity, leading to a dry end. Not as bad as I had feared.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, dark reddish colour with a small, pink head that leaves laces in the glass. Very pronounced cherry flavour. Incredible, artificial sweetness and very perfumy, artificial cherry-flavours. Apparently also contains elderberries. 030705

(Bottle 25 cl) As "Louwaege’s Kriek" 6/4/4/2/10=2,6 310705

25 cL can, thanks to Phil_L. Rated from can back in his van. Revealed some pink foam when opened, Jens says the colour is red, that it is then. Sweet cherry aroma. Flavour is quite sweet cherries with a sugarish finish. Quite nice for a canned kriek, my first actually.

Cheers Phil_L for this, rescuing us from the failed Belgium government and railway system and an overloaded German.

Bottle BF220208. Unclear cherry red color with a average fizzy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate cherry, sugar, light acidic, ederberries. Flavor is heavy sweet, fruit / sugar sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Red colour, almost white head. Semi-nauseating cherry aroma. Very sweet cherry flavour with a dry, metallic finish. Aterftaste of winegum and apple cider.

Cloudy red color, thin head. Dusty cherry syrup aroma. Quite sweet taste, cherry syrup, nothing else. What?

Draft. Clear red with a tiny white head. Aroma had sweet cherries and almonds. Flavour was sweet with cherries, almonds and hints of wood. Finished kind of tart.
