Commercial Description:
Made with hops grown in the good ’ol USA... you’ll proudly support American farmers when you drink beer! Light copper in color, it has an intense hop aroma and strong hop bitterness. Our hopback process uses fresh hop cones to take this IPA to unexpected placed. Prepare for a mouthful of flavor.

On tap at Winslow’s in Greenville, NC. Truthfully I really wanted to like this beer but did not expect to. I must admit I was pleasantly shocked; it’s a really good IPA. Pours hazy orange with an off-white head. Powerful citrus and piney hop aroma. Bitter floral hop flavor. Lingering bitter hoppiness on the palate. This is really a very good IPA. I hope this brewery does well with this one.

Pours a bright, yet light orange hue. Aroma faint of hops, pine resins and flowers. Flavour was of hops and resin upfront, however the balance is missing somewhat, malt is light if not non existent. The beer is very drinkable and tasty but somewhat middle of the road.

On tap at the brewery during the grand opening - hazy copper in color with a thin head. Aroma of hops, citrus and pine. Strong hoppy, grapefruit taste with a very bitter finish - exactly what i would expect from a solid IPA - which this definitely is. Nice offering from a new brewery that will be very popular here in NC very soon.

WBF. Pours an amber gold with some haze and a one finger creamy off white head. The nose is citrusy, lightly fruity, sweet malt, some garlic. Flavor shows a medium bitterness, citrus rind, leafy astringency, tastes young, mildly sweet.

Went to WBF yesterday and had this new brewery’s IIPA Sister’s of the Moon. I have to say I was blown away with how good it is. The 2 girls pouring were not bad either. After tasting all of the NC breweries IPA’s I have to say this was my favorite.

On tap at the World Beer Festival in Durham. I have to admit I was surprised at how good this was. Slightly hazy dark gold pour. Hops taste like Cascade and Amarillo. Citrus and some resin; a little tropical fruit. Slightly soapy, but not in a bad way. Nice showing from a new brewery.
