Worse than their pale lager. Aroma of bad candy and flavor of same. No idea how they got this flavor. Pass. Silphium (2027), Lansing, Michigan, USA Jun 20, 2008 Hazy tangerine-colored body with cakey yeast sediments, thin off-white head. Aroma of bready yeast, nuts, cereals, and light tart notes. Cerealy, nutty body, and watered down, characteristic of all of this brewer’s bottled beers, with light wet hay and citrusy wheat notes that play second fiddle. Sourish tang in the finish with wet socks and muddled esters. Thin and simply not good. CharlesDarwin (1406), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 20, 2007 12 oz Bottle. Aroma glows of light styrofoam and tangerine spritz. Weird. Lightly off. Comes out as a clouded pale orange with white soapy rim. Flavor is a thin, minimal cardboard, mineral and light, faint infection. Bland and terrible. Nothing really there and what is, isn’t working. Finishes on palpable wax. Thanks anyway Sean!
