Nov 14, 2003 Updated: Nov 17, 2003#21 on my Stouts of November: Dark brown hue with reddish highlights. Okay tan head and good lace. Aroma hints of coffee, mocha, roasted malt, aromatic hops, and raisin. Well balanced taste between sweet malt and twangy yeast. Some bitterness and smoke follows on the finish. Thin-bodied with a lively mouthfeel. An okay stout, nothing to write home about.

Aug 22, 2003 Pours out as dark as night, with a very, nice aroma of roasted malt and expresso. Taste follows suite with a nice balance of hops and malts. This is a very good stout and one that could be drank in quantity.
