Oakes (6966), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Feb 8, 2006 Draught at the brewpub Light amber colour. Light fruity aroma with a little bit of grapefruit hop. Refreshing bitterness and an understated pale malt character. Lemony hops in the finish. Lubiere (3324), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 14, 2006 Golden ale with a thin white head. Light malt aroma with light honey notes. Nice light pale ale with smooth hops and very light bodied. Russian River Beer Revival & Barbecue Cook-Off, August 20, 2005. PorterPounder (2851), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Oct 3, 2005 Picked this up at a little deli on the side of the road in Middletown, Ca after seeing the little brewery downtown, but did not have time to stop - brought back and shared with Aurelius. Hazy. medium golden pour, not much of a head to speak of. Grassy aroma, slightly sweet with hints of the ocean. Falvor has some brief lemony citrus notes in there with some mown grass essence in there as well. Kind of on the dry side though. Mouthfeel is thick enough, but the back end is a bit metallic. Leans more towards a golden than an APA. Aurelius (2507), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Sep 30, 2005 Lemony, metallic, seawater spray aroma. Slightly overbittered perhaps. Fairly dry. Long-lingering, pleasant hop finish. Like a cross between a PA and a kolsch. Nice weight. Crisp. Prostman (1076), Pennsylvania, USA Aug 23, 2003 This was one of the worst beers that I have ever tried. It had to have been very stale, so maybe I'll have to try it again sometime.
