(10/2006. Draft.) Very light malty aromas evident, but by and large very neutral. Ever-so-slightly-hazy golden with a white head that dissipates relatively quickly into a lasting, medium-thick, white film with decent lace. Very smooth flavors. Malty sweetness balanced by a subtle hop spiciness imparted, no doubt, from a noble variety (Hallertau, I’m guessing!). Pleasantly bitter on the back end, medium-bodied with a nice, warming sensation imparted from the relatively high alcohol that remains very tame. Lingering, spicy aftertaste from the hops. Medium-low carbonation.
