It is a reddish golden color with no head and decent lacing. This smooth solution has a tart intro that then turns sour-sweet as it flows through the mouth. The taste of honey is first detected then apricot appears then back to a honey taste as it leaves the mouth. A hint of cinnamon can also be detected as this mead leaves the mouth. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA

I wonder if something’s gone wrong b/c I’ve never tasted honey that’s sour before. An extremely thin, watery mead that’s essentially a wine cooler with loads of sour apricots in it. It is in no way reminiscent of what I think of when I think mead. It is like sourish sangria with a honey aroma. A staggering disappointment, given the money paid for this bottle to be shipped to NYC. Perhaps use more sulfites as preservates in future batches. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Peach and wildflower aroma, prominent aroma of honey is this one. Flavour is very sweet but the mead is surprisingly thin-bodied. A bit of tannins. Slight ruddy colour.
