No head (still). Body is dark red. Aroma is note of honey, cranberry, flowers. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Full body, syrupy texture, flat carbonation, lightly astringent. I wasn’t expecting a fruited mead when I ordered this (at Alameda Brewing I think), but it was pretty obvious this was cranberry from the first whiff. As such, it’s too much like a cranberry wine might be like, other than the thick body; the mead character doesn’t shine much here. bhensonb (4300), Woodland, California, USA

Medium body, no carbonation. Flavor impression is Milk of Magnesia. Chalky. Finish to me is primarily fruity Milk of Magnesia. Very strange. Svesse (2657), Hässelby, Sweden
