This has probably one of the best aromas I’ve encountered. It smells of Christmas, like cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and a bit of honey. If it had been winter rather than summer I would’ve done my best to find more. This is very smooth and the honey taste lingers. carruthm (1127), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2006 Bottled. Pours a clear straw color with no head. Flowery nose hugely dominated by ginger. Medium light body with no carbonation (still). Generally spicy honey taste, with a big dose of ginger that somehow avoids being overbearing. Dry finish. An intriguing drink. Very spicy aroma, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet vineous character. Flavour is also very spicy, semi-dry with a spicy and somewhat tannic finish. Not quite as flavourful as the aroma would have you believe.
