gracefullypunk (272), Washington, USA Jul 11, 2009 Taster at Seattle International Beer Festival. This has probably one of the best aromas I’ve encountered. It smells of Christmas, like cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and a bit of honey. If it had been winter rather than summer I would’ve done my best to find more. This is very smooth and the honey taste lingers. carruthm (1110), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 4, 2009 Seattle Beer Fest. Smooth winter spices. very woodsy. Very nice for the winter months. badlizard (2324), Berkeley, California, USA Jun 28, 2009 Tasted at the San Diego International Beer Festival. Nice ginger ale aroma and taste with sweet cinnamon and spice notes. Really good. bitbucket (2025), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jul 2, 2006 Bottled. Pours a clear straw color with no head. Flowery nose hugely dominated by ginger. Medium light body with no carbonation (still). Generally spicy honey taste, with a big dose of ginger that somehow avoids being overbearing. Dry finish. An intriguing drink. JoeMcPhee (4893), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Dec 6, 2004 Portland Holiday Ale Festival 2004. Pale yellow. Very spicy aroma, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet vineous character. Flavour is also very spicy, semi-dry with a spicy and somewhat tannic finish. Not quite as flavourful as the aroma would have you believe.
