Commercial Description:
This beer derives its name from one of the world's tallest peaks which, loosely translated, means "goddess rich in sustenance." Chock full of malted barley with mild hop overtones, this ale itself is rich in sustenance.

Draft at the brewery. Very dark caramel amber colored body, dark enough to look like a brown ale. Full body, sticky caramel and maple flavored malt, munich and caramel heavy, chewy as well. Hop flavor is minimal but bitterness is mild to moderate, body is smooth and syrupy, a little too harsh and biting at times on the back.

One of the lesser beers I tasted at the brewpub. They told me it was 5.4 % alcohol. Just average

This has some big malty flavors right off the bat, some toasty toffee and caramel, with a nice amount of bittering hops. Mild and medium bodied. Decent.

On tap: Wasn’t a big fan of this beer, it was a little to sweet. It poured a golden brown color with no head. Didnt not have to much of a smell except malts.

On tap at the brewpub. Likely my least favorite of the flight that I tried here. Dark reddish chestnut color with a thing white head incapable of sustaining a head. Toasted caramel nuttiness and thicker than most "brown" ales, but just not much else here to inspire me. Mild roastedness to the finish.

On tap at Mountain Sun. Hazy amber appearance. Great mouthfeel. Grapefruit, caramel on the nose. Flavor had a nice balance of slightly bitter hops with a lemongrass taste and sweet malts with a toasted toffee taste.

tap. tea like appearance with a brownish head that clings to the sides. hops in the nose with a sweet candy note. flavor is enjoyably bitter that is a bit light grapefruit & some flowery something that ends in a coppery orange twix like sweetness. a nice balanced meal beer that washed down my burger well, and one i’d order for non beer geek friends. 4 6 6 4 13

Tap @ Mountain sun: The beer was a slightly hazy deep amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was malty with notes of caramel, toffee, and a light roast. Malty caramel flavor that starts light. Roasty in the middle. Light citrus on the finish. The finish is light and clean.
