| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 15, 2006 Draught at the Southern Sun. 8 oz sample. Beer was a medium, hazy-brown color with an average-to-large, creamy, white, mostly lasting head. The aroma was really agreeable—and while it wasn’t flashy, it was darn engaging. Toasty and fruity. Malty with moderate notes of toasted grain, caramel; Hoppy with moderate notes of green grass and green tea; Yeasty with trace note of basement and a light note of dough; Moderate miscellaneous notes of peach, vanilla and wood. The flavor was moderately sweet, lightly acidic with a long, tingly, lightly acidic finish. The body was light, the texture was watery and the carbonation was softer an average. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
