Commercial Description:
What's in a name? The brewer's mantra, "more hops," is taken as far as possible in this beer. A deep amber body balances the bitterness and makes that long day at work seem a distant memory. Just ask for a pint of "the dank!!" This beer is also dry hopped with whole flower, Cascade hops.

Crushed with Jakebra on tap at the brewpub. Good hops. Excellent profile for a pale ale. Smooth, hoppy, and nice. Dug it.

Very fresh and bright, exactly what you’d expect out of an American Pale ale.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy amber body with a small beige head. Aroma of floral, citrus, orange, and light pine. Flavor of caramel, nuts, light roasted malt, and hops (grass, pine) with moderate bitterness in the finish.

On tap at Southern Sun. Pours dark red working on brown. I am not quite sure this beer delivers as advertised. More hops? This is one of the more balanced beers I have ever had. That said, there is a fruity nose. I smell grapes. There is a light chocolate not to go along with some toasty notes. Medium body and average carbonation, ho hum. Not even really all that bitter. I would call this a beginner beer.

Growler from brewery. Poured a deep copper-amber color with a thick off-white head that left good lacing. Aroma of floral, piny hops with some light undertones of citric fruit. Smooth, lightly malty entry with some light caramel that transitions into a soft, piny hoppiness with a hint of fruitiness. Moderate carbonation, decent mouthfeel. All around, solid APA that I would probably drink a decent amount of if I lived in Boulder, but thank god I am not a liberal hippie scum that infest the town.

Draft at Southern Sun. Dark rusty red, unfiltered. Mild and mellow sweet cherry scented malt nose, some notes of fruit cocktail and maraschino cherries along with a sweetened, syrupy cedar wood note. Mellow texture, but still has some crusty, bready malts throughout... overall tends to be sweet from start to finish, with some sugary wood and tea leaves. Hop presence is noticeable but subdued... faint bitterness but does has some grapefruit notes that play well with the cherry/wood malt character.
