Commercial Description:
What's in a name? The brewer's mantra, "more hops," is taken as far as possible in this beer. A deep amber body balances the bitterness and makes that long day at work seem a distant memory. Just ask for a pint of "the dank!!" This beer is also dry hopped with whole flower, Cascade hops.

Aroma offers grapefruit citrus and floral hops over a lightly toasted malt base with some notes of toffee. Opaque amber-brown coloured body is topped by a decent crown of fine bubbled tan head that recedes to partial cover with some lacing. Grapefruit, orange, floral, lavender, soapy hops with assertive bitterness are joined by grainy malt flavours. Overall hops are perhaps a bit too simple and dominant. Medium light body is dry with sharp, pointy carbonation. While it didn’t exactly knock my socks off, I thought it was ok. Sampled on tap at the brewpub with ClarkVV, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere.

Draught at Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery. Pours mahagony with spotty small tan head and lined lacing. Grapefruit citrus hop and caramel malt, very fragrant floral hops. Bitter rind citrus hop flavor with a malty body. Medium bodied and refreshing palate.

Ivory colored head gently tops the cloudy amber hue. Caramelly crystal malts serve as a bed for the obvious dry-hopping, citrusy, earthy and orangey. Grapefruit and pineapple join in as it enters the mouth, the feeling being citruc juice more than astringence. Oily medium body, rather sweet despite the hops and with alcohol dancing at the rear of your head.

Tasted in Boulder at the Mountain Sun brewery. Aroma of cascade hop bitterness with a somewhat floral element. Deep orange appearance with a thin white wispy head and cloudy. Strong hop palate, balanced however, starts off bitter but finishes quite smoothly.

An unclear dark orange beer with no head. The aroma is slightly malty, while the flavor is hoppy and malty with notes of oranges leading to a dry end.

Nice cloudy light brown color. Barely hoppy aroma. Very light body, light hops with noticable bitterness. Easy going.

The Easter Bunny would like this one it’s so hoppy. A good beer to drink slowly and steadily.

Very bready malt aroma, some good hops as well. Vague citrus. Good bready malts, some juniper like hop flavor. Quite pleasant.
