Poured a lightly hazy, amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, floral hops, skunk, nuts, and toffee malts. Taste of more toffee malts, citrus fruits, flowers, caramel, and grass, with a medium, grapefruit bitterness in the finish.

Sampled at the brewhouse in Boulder. Seems very consistent with most of their other brewed ales. (Hoppy and cloudy). Which is always a favorite of mine. Pours with a nice head to it and has a lot of hoppy aroma. Citris undertones and very nice.

On tap at Southern Sun (great deck and happy hour’s a screamin deal at $2.25 per). Great hazed-up mid-amber color, nice head and big hoppy smell. A strong flavor that doesn’t back down, with a big hit of grapefruit-citrus bitter at the end. Bam!

Tap. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized off white head, some lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, caramel. Flavor is grapefruit, orange, pine, caramel. Palate is medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitter finish. Fairly refreshing and pretty well roounded.

Robe blonde voilée aux reflets oranges surmontée d’une mince mousse blanche qui s’estompe. Arômes de houblon résineux et de DMS. Saveurs de houblon citronné résineux et poudreux.
