| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 5, 2006 On draft at O’Briens Wet Hop Festival. This is a wet hop beer using Columbus hops according to the info sheet describing the festival beers. Clear medium amber color with a small off-white head. This one has a strange aroma for an IPA, more lagerish in character, pale soapy malts, quite floral with a bit of grass and very mild hoppiness. Odd flavor as well, floral-sweet, kind of a "spring fresh" soap taste, tangy floral hops with hints of orange rind. Medium body and tingly carbonation. My overall impression of this beer is "Huh, IPA?" Did I rate the same beer as everyone else??? TheBeerGod (3177), Newport News, Virginia, USA

Cloudy amber ale with a small, frothy, white head. The nose delivers notes of pine, wood and fuzzy fruits. Decently balanced flavor that leans just a hair on the bitter side. Sweet up front, then medium to heavy bitterness that lingers. A pinch of salt and a touch of tanginess. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Bitter, Mojave-dry finish. jimbowood (983), Athens, Georgia, USA
